Please describe Sasha Talks; what does it involve?
Sasha Talks, an informative and engaging venue, investigates human development in the context of performance management. It offers consulting, speaking, and specialized services, among other engagement channels. The platform facilitates commerce, personal growth, and spiritual exploration.
What would you say are the three most important talents for entrepreneurial success, and why?
Nothing worthwhile in life develops immediately. Good ideas need time to germinate over a healthy life cycle that, ideally, yields consistent and dependable results. Entrepreneurship is a journey with numerous turns; it is not about the individual, but rather about life and business following their natural development path. When an entrepreneur lacks patience, he or she may make rash decisions that endanger the quality of resources, human capital, and relationships. When life doesn’t go as planned, cultivating and employing fortitude can help one maintain composure. Patience is a virtue in this situation; otherwise, the entrepreneur will act impulsively on random ideas to attract results without a strategic approach to their mission. Knowing oneself facilitates the development of forbearance because the individual will know when to act, as opposed to relying on periods of silence to strengthen one’s resolve.
Time management and situational and self-awareness occur simultaneously. Everyone is allotted the same amount of time per day for personal and professional development. Determine your highest priorities, and then hold yourself accountable for their observance. An entrepreneur should not become a doormat in the process of cultivating ideas that are intended to serve others. Manage your day, or it will manage you by leaving you with insufficient energy and bandwidth to focus on essential personal and professional objectives. When time management is incorporated into a person’s regimen, the entrepreneur has a greater chance of being present during daily activities and decision-making.
Communicate your intent and explain what you intend. There are individuals who will attempt to steal your time without earning it or being able to articulate why they wish to engage you; therefore, communication should also include boundaries. 99.9% of the time, when people ask me questions that have already been answered expressly, I disregard them because they do not merit a personalized response. On rare occasions, I will provide an evasive response to make the third party query their motives for contacting me without first conducting research. Because certain personalities are rarely told no or reprimanded for their preposterous actions, I am indifferent to their status and length of life.
This exemplifies two points: Individuals demonstrate whether or not they are viable candidates for your engagement through their words and actions. In extreme circumstances, it is permissible to expressly reject the proposition. It is crucial to differentiate between self-centered and vulnerable individuals. Numerous individuals are avaricious. Those who are defenseless can benefit from some guidance to aid them on their journey. No humiliation or conceit should be present when assisting someone in need of genuine guidance. Providing direction is distinct from denying someone the opportunity to attain their merit.
Community is important. It can help you build bridges or turn you into your worst enemy if you don’t use it judiciously. Make your time count so that your words will count. I observe a large number of people who lack the ability to initiate, cultivate, and conclude a conversation in a dignified manner without inciting false hope. The entrepreneur must keep in mind that niceness is “lip service,” whereas compassion is demonstrated through actions. Prevent false hope from entering your mind, emotions, and physical space. If someone truly intends what they say, they will become a client in response to a need.
What was your first business idea, and how successful was it?
I am unable to recall my very first concept because I had multiple ideas that merged as I determined which commercial path best aligned with my interests. I have provided private clients with coaching and instruction, which has enabled me to begin contributing to the publishing industry. Before purchasing and administering my own studio for three years before selling it to a third party, I worked temporarily at an art studio. Managing it and producing my own works, in addition to my other responsibilities, became somewhat taxing, so I ended up using my studio space for other projects, which aided my transition into new markets. In exchange for rent, I made the space available to nearby businesses, which worked out extraordinarily well. These ideas had one thing in common: identifying and utilizing the skill sets I already possessed to develop services that could be provided in a unique way. I was able to pass the time and generate new ideas thanks to the resources I acquired at the time. Consequently, I was exposed to a diversity of business scenarios, including C2B, C2C, B2C, and B2B.
What are you studying currently? Why does this matter?
I am constantly learning something new, whether it pertains to the business world, wellness, or basic kitchen techniques, in order to better manage my time and service others. Last year, a community artist invited me to private improv classes. It broadened my understanding of human communication and perception. This year, I am collaborating with a third party on an outdoor project that requires me to produce various forms of writing. I encourage individuals to attend classes in person, participate in community activities, and even introduce a new concept or routine to others. Learning again after an absence can be an overwhelming experience; in such cases, I recommend implementing any new change in baby steps.
It preserves the mental, emotional, and physical vitality of living things. There are numerous varieties of learning, which are subdivided by interests and investment levels. Anyone can begin learning a new hobby or skill with nothing more than their desire, commitment, and patience.
What would you do differently if you had to relaunch your business?
I would not modify anything because the changes in my organic learning trajectory mirrored my personal development throughout the process. Some things in life, such as our goals, should not be rushed or manipulated in order to attain a particular outcome. Altering the trajectory of events can have both positive and detrimental effects on the environments that have shaped who we are today. In addition, when an individual is devoted to their cause for the right reasons, the results will eventually reflect this. Until further notice, obey the following:
The relationships you maintain
How you organize your timetable.
How you construct your relationship with yourself and, by extension, with the world.
Determine the negotiables and non-negotiables in your life.
What productivity strategy do you follow?
Using the alarm app on my phone, which displays only time-sensitive appointments for a given week, I keep things simple. It is programmed to countdown to the event in increments indicating when I should prepare, commute, or take a break. It is simple and devoid of embellishments.
Can you recommend a book, podcast, and online course on entrepreneurship?
The Steven Bartlett-hosted podcast The Diary of a CEO is highly recommended. Steven excels at conducting interviews with individuals willing to share their ‘unfiltered’ life stories. People are frequently indoctrinated by society to believe that success comes readily to certain individuals and, therefore, that they are fundamentally privileged. Numerous eminent figures who have shaped humankind overcame distinct obstacles that molded their personalities to take risks that eventually paid off. The Diary of a CEO humanizes the guest to the extent that we forget for a moment what they do for a living and are instead intrigued to discover the types of life experiences that led to their current position.
How would you spend $1,000 to launch a new business with the knowledge you currently possess?
I started with less than twenty dollars, so a thousand dollars seems incredibly generous! One-third would be allocated to professional development (learning purposes/books/courses), one-third to platform enhancement, and one-third to supporting others’ work.
What’s your favorite quotation?
“Lies run sprints, but the truth runs marathons.”
Michael Jackson —
What do you regard achievement to be?
A peace of mind that is rooted in knowing who you are because it functions as an operating system that will help you make decisions in all aspects of life; as well as help you navigate the challenges of this transient adventure known as ‘life’.
How do you personally overcome anxiety?
I recall all previous obstacles and challenges I’ve overcome, regardless of whether they were of my own volition. Given that life is a one-way street, it is preferable to focus on the present rather than fretting about what might go wrong. Remain pragmatic, but do not allow the cacophony of life to discourage you from taking risks or making decisions. The more you continue to learn and gain life experiences, the less capacity there is for anxiety. This is comparable to what I tell others: “Faith and fear cannot coexist.” Both originate within us; choose the one you desire to have on your side.
