How did you begin working in this field? How did you become a web developer?
I was excited about the new technology as soon as the Internet and websites started to appear. At the time, I had just received my degree from college and was helping my father run his business. I enrolled in a number of web design and development courses one after another since I thought that web development was crucial to the growth of the company. I was introduced to a completely new world via Harvard’s CS50 program, and it was at that point that I made the decision to pursue web development as a profession.
How do you make money?
I run MS-WEB, my website building business, and help clients with challenging problems. I take pride in the fact that I assist my clients in bridging the technological gap, something no other web developer does. I help my clients find workable solutions by being open to opportunities and mindful of stakeholder interests. I make a living by offering unique web development services that are unparalleled.
How much time did it take for you to turn a profit?
Like other business owners, I went through cycles of variable profitability. The more time I put into honing my skills and researching the competitors, the more I was able to focus on what the business world demanded. I started making contacts and realizing my value in the web development sector after working for a while and overcoming challenging problems. My profitability rose as a result of the great design, development, project management, and programming skills I possessed.
Did you ever wonder if it would work when you first started? If so, what was your reaction?
Adversity is a frequent occurrence from time to time. Only improving my abilities allowed me to overcome my doubts. I was able to eliminate my uncertainties by making an attempt to understand my level of education and the demands of the profession. I sincerely think that there is minimal room for uncertainty and reluctance if one has the ability to address a certain set of challenges without fail.
How did you get your first customer?
My first customer was my father. I built the website for his business, which was really helpful for him in attracting internet customers. My father had faith in my intelligence and skills, and it just expanded from there.
What type of marketing approach do you use that consistently brings in new business (other than referrals)?
I devote all of my time to delivering the greatest quality work that complies with best practices rather than concentrating on marketing methods. I disagree with pandering to the public by providing something that is quicker and less expensive. My individuality is a quality that speaks for itself. My target market is made up of people who are prepared to spend extra for a high-quality service and item. I work hard to be the exclusive choice that is always in demand.
What was the most challenging choice you had to make recently?
Numerous trainees had to be let go because they repeatedly produced low-quality code in spite of receiving clear instructions and numerous attempts to coach them on how to do it. After completing several projects with the same results and little progress, I came to the conclusion that they were not aware of the most recent coding standards. I usually feel bad if I don’t improve someone’s life or skill set.
What do you think makes you successful, in your opinion?
laboriousness and consistency. It is essential to generate consistent, high-quality work since the code standards in the technology business are always changing. Most individuals don’t fully understand the technology they use every day, so they need continuous direction and results. If you are unable to continuously deliver excellent outcomes and establish yourself as essential to their business, you are doomed. A web developer must understand the most basic needs and standards of the project at hand in order to give the greatest user experience. Web developers do more than just design and construct websites.
What was your most fulfilling professional experience?
When I work with exceptional coworkers that assist me in resolving challenging issues, I feel really gratified. Being the only person in the room who understands design and development and has the vision to turn difficulties into practical solutions is not always pleasant. When you collaborate with other seasoned developers on an issue, you may examine it from a variety of angles and find a more efficient solution.
What does the future hold for your company? What are you most anticipating?
I plan to use the newest standards and technologies to design and create a significant number of full-stack websites and web apps. In order to bridge the technical gap in their project, I am eager to better understand my client’s requirements and present them with a range of choices.
What business-related books have influenced you?
How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie is a fantastic book that I read many years ago. I can still remember its lesson, and it still has an impact on how I run my firm.
What advice would you give to yourself in the past?
a risk. You have a better chance of closing that deficit on the field the more brave you are about taking on challenges.
Are you ready to guide others? If so, how may someone contact you?
Yes, I’m always happy to help other devs with their job changes and offer assistance when I can. You can check my website and contact me.
